Trimmer is a participant in the Research Apprenticeship Program (RAP) and pursuing a dual degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.

Noah is working on the development of a free-flight test facility equipped with VICON motion capture cameras to analyze and control an experimental UAS quadcopter. He is also an executive member of the WVU Experimental Rocketry Club and a General-licensed member of the WVU Amateur Radio Club.
